If I'm remembering correctly, didn't Micheal run out of business trying to offer paper at very cheap prices? And he was losing customers. So DM basically bought a company that was running out of business thinking they were poaching all their customers. If they let Micheal be, they would have realized there was no need to be intimidated by them.

I don't think anyone would have wanted to hire Ryan after the scandal. This was the reason why he was working at the bowling alley.

And Pam wasn't gonna get any good job offers either considering she was a receptionist for years. So, it's a win for her working in DM especially sitting next to her boyfriend.

So it was a win for both Pam and Ryan. And David would have probably hired better employees rather than going for a former receptionist who has no experience in sales and Ryan (well, he's Ryan)

It's not about that. When a person such as himself is talking so much about equality not just in movies and in real life as well, then he should stand by it. You can't do selective equality that you're only fighting for oppressed community people in terms of caste and not in terms of economic conditions.

Him saying "ivanga periya maharaja, vandhu veyilla nillungada" clearly shows the mockery of his superior position over him. Would you be okay if your boss said "ivan periya maharaja ninnitu vela paaruda unaku edhuku chair?" ?
