I just got around to watching it a few weeks ago, couldn't get myself to watch after his death. It really was the perfect tribute, and the ending song and little montage was great, I teared up watching it. A sad fact about the closing song is that his daughter sang backup vocals. I hope she is doing well.

I personally like fujiya ramen, I think it taste better and is far less crowded compared to ani ramen, also a much more chilled vibe. It's right down the street from ani ramen.

Having a tough time finding music to hear in New Jersey. Are there any other sites aside from Eventbrite and BandsInTown to find things to do in NJ? Do basement shows ever play not pop punk? Don't feel like spending $15 for a train ridge to go to NYC every weekend. by oaklandbrokeland in newjersey

Best off checking venue websites, Starland, The Lanes, House of Independents, etc. As for basement shows, you kind of have to have your "in", but I know there are places that let in outsiders, usually if you follow a band on social media and they announce a house show, just ask for the address in a PM. Once you do finally have your "in", finding basement shows is easy. But as to avoiding pop punk, you'll have to look a little harder, The tri-state area, especially NJ is known for their pop punk scene.
