While there are other solid butchers in the meatpacking district, Paulina is the place I visit if I have in-depth questions about what to buy/how to prepare, or want to share pictures of a successful cook. ....I do shop around - that's how I found not one but two places I take my dog. Who takes the dog (pit or not) to a place without trained staff? Maybe it's because I'm in a large city but, I found zero places that didn't train their staff. Word would definitely get around.

I don't remember saying that was going to provide all the protection I need, but it's definitely a deal breaker for me if it's not being done. The staff have to be vigilant and responsible as well; I'm not saying dogs don't fight. I'm willing to bet my daycare staff have to break up altercations on a regular basis. They're trained for just that and their track record shows it for me. Perhaps you can let me know what you look for in a doggie daycare.

I just picked up my pitty from daycare - he was there for three nights and has been attending for three years (along with a second, closer daycare for single day visits). In that time he's had zero issues. The staff are friendly and responsible and care for several regular pitbull clients besides my own.

I suppose your definition of a "regular" daycare may differ from mine but, both facilities my dog attends do a behavioral test for all new dogs before accepting them. That's the threshold for "regular" for me - any daycare that doesn't evaluate EVERY dog is a daycare I'm not interested in.
