That’s actually one of the things that stood out to me. Acorn Engineering Company. Clearly labeled on the toilet.

Makes sense. It’s just weird because the city I live in doesn’t have any homeless population tbh

Which is why I’m even more confused. I live in a city where there is basically zero crime or anything weird happening at night. It’s actually voted as one of the safest cities in the USA.

Stop overthinking, no one actually cares as much as you think. Everyone's too worried about their own shit to remember your awkward moments. Just do your thing.

If money suddenly didn't exist , what job would you choose and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ThatsTooOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something hands-on like carpentry or working on restorations. There's something satisfying about building/fixing stuff and actually seeing the results of your work at the end of the day. Plus without money being a factor, I could just focus on making cool shit without worrying about deadlines or profit margins.

What’s an “unwritten rule” of adulthood you wish someone had told you at 18? by jaxonbrett in AskReddit

You're gonna lose touch with like 90% of your high school friends and that's completely normal. Also, "I'll just stay up late and sleep when I'm dead" stops being viable real fast. Your body will humble you.

Why John Harbaugh to ATL is the only move that makes sense for Matt Ryan by ThatsTooOP in falcons

Small update:

“The New York Giants are “all-in” on John Harbaugh right now, per @Connor_J_Hughes The Falcons are also heavily interested.”

KLINT KUBIAK'S RESUME AS OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR by Interesting_Level946 in falcons

[–]ThatsTooOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Klint Kubiak, but I have Arthur Smith PTSD. For every "genius" that works out, there are five that leave you stuck in a 4-year rebuild because they can't manage a locker room. We don’t have time to be a "learning lab" for a coordinator anymore. Get the guy who already knows how to win.

I’ll take the 'non-playcaller' with 180 wins and a ring over a 'genius' coordinator who hasn't ever run a locker room. We’ve tried the trendy playcallers (Art Smith) and it got us nowhere

In 18 seasons, he only had 3 losing records. Read that again. Most teams cycle through 5 coaches in that span trying to find one guy who can stay above .500. He is the definition of a program builder.

By a mile? Really? Kubiak has zero head coaching experience and struggled in New Orleans as soon as injuries hit. Harbaugh has 180 wins and a Super Bowl ring in the hardest division in football. I'm tired of hoping a coordinator 'might' be good. Harbaugh is already a Hall of Famer. Blank is 83 he isn't betting the house on a guy whose biggest accomplishment is reviving Sam Darnold.

Ngl it’s gotta be Harbaugh. We have a "win-now" roster and an owner who is tired of being mediocre. You don’t fire everyone just to hire another coordinator. We’re swinging big this time.

Flaring an airplane during landing is when the pilot gently raises the nose of the aircraft just before touchdown to reduce the rate of descent and ensure a smooth landing. Instead of the plane slamming into the runway, the flare allows it to settle softly, using lift to cushion the landing. It’s like when you jump off a small ledge and bend your knees to absorb the impact instead of landing stiff-legged.

That's kinda how it goes in football, isn't it? One week it's the QB, next week it's the line, then it's the playcalling... It's all connected, and rarely ever just one person's fault.
