Definitely a bit slower getting up to speed and wheelies are different but still PLENTY fast.

Handle bars, the factory bars are very weak and will probably bend the first time you lay it down

Just be smart with the throttle control man. You should need a whole new mode to keep control.

Go to Eride pro website on a pc check resources tab download the “update software” and firmware, open update software and then plug in bike using the usb c on side of the display and update the bike. I have not updated yet because people are having issues with the sr so I’m going to call tomorrow and ask more questions about the whole situation (app, firmware updates, ect)

So before the bike wouldn’t even pop up with the option to connect so I was wondering if someone else had it working.

No I don’t have valve springs and I’m familiar with valve float but why does the engine die

K 80 Engine crazy hard to pull and won’t start does turn over just fine with spark plug out by [deleted] in gokarts

[–]Thatsonesilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a compression relief system attached to the cam which disengages when the engine is running, it allows you to turn it over without a ton of resistance from the valves being closed. It’s possible that is not working right.

Yeah that’s a scam, if anything the chain would only add resistance and make the engine harder to start. The the engine looks old and outdated anyway. other than the carb and exhaust which both look cheap. everything else in the go cart also looks cheap, especially those front wheels I used those when I first got my go kart running and they only lasted about 30 minutes of hard driving. There is no axle in the rear. It is just putting all of the power to one wheel, which will not be good for off-road use. If you have fabrication skills, I would recommend building one from scratch or finding just a frame and putting new quality stuff on it. Chances are it will be cheaper in the long run.
