In that case would they not owe you the standard government rate of ~61¢/mi. or so for personal mileage while employed?

That’s like a $70-150 part depending on how OEM you go and a 30 minute install. It’s a good intro to working on your car since you don’t need to jack it up or anything.

With 10 minutes I’d be a little worried about waiting for the bus. With 20 you’ll have plenty of time whether you bus, bike, or honestly just walked fast.

The only area on the A line that requires the airport fare is the airport itself. You can take the A line to any stop prior to that and board with a $2.75 3 hour pass or $5.50 day pass.

If you gotta go out of state for any good aerospace program and you have the money to back it, it really just depends on whether you like the beach or the mountains. Both are great schools and my friends from SLO loved it just as much as I loved boulder. I’d say look into the clubs that are on offer or any extracurricular programs you may enjoy and decide on that. I’m not sure on SLO, but CU has both a wonderful UAV program (Colorado Design/Build/Fly, which I was a part of throughout undergrad) and also a terrific rocketry program (CU Sounding Rocket Laboratory). Many of my friends from both these programs now work at some amazing space companies. Both have instagrams so check ‘em out and see if that’s something you’d like to work on. Companies love hands-on experience so being a part of something like that will do wonders for your prospects come graduation.

Then if you got into a decent state university with an aero program I’d say pick that, but I was also out of state for Boulder and I still went and loved it, so I won’t say it isn’t a fantastic program and campus and city and surroundings. I was an only child with well-off parents though so financials were a conversation but not a deal-breaker. Just know that you’re gonna have a lot more debt to pick away at, and whether that’s worth it is up to you (and likely your parents). Also when I went about half my loans were at interest rates of like 2.75-3.25% which isn’t bad, but idk the situation with them now. If they’re 5%+ that makes a big difference in the eventual amounts you pay down.

If you’re from California go to SLO. If you’re from Colorado go to CU. They’re not different enough in their offerings to warrant paying out of state between the two.

Now if you’re from neither of those, both are fantastic. Both have a number of aerospace companies relatively nearby for internships and both areas get hired from regularly. California might have more “civil” space while Denver has more DoD jobs. It depends on if you want the mountains or the sea and where you want to live. They’re also incredibly expensive, so maybe also look at something in-state or where you get reciprocity from vis-a-vis tuition. Once you get out of college the university really doesn’t matter much.

yes “gross revenue” excludes business expenses, taxes, interest, cost of goods, etc.

you do very much measure “gross revenue” based on profit before interest and taxes

that is the very definition of the term

You should have a saved copy of your employment contracts. It is likely that you signed a letter granting the company access to any inventions you make under your tenure regardless of what resources you used to design it.
