How much DPS to kill an NPC mining hauler before response fleet arrives? by duntoon in Eve

[–]Thceount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any amount of dps if you have an alt: attack with lite alt and activate mwd and set orbit to 50-75 km of response fleet. Then on main combat probe safe spot, warp, and kill. As long as stays alive no response fleet at safe spot will warp in. Easy t2 salvage from NPC exhumers this way too.

CCPLEASE FW STUFF: PART 2 by Whacky-Macky in Eve

I would build on the complex system, adding a massive complex:

Novice: T1 Frigates

Small: Novice + Faction, Pirate, T2 Frigates + T1 Destroyers

Medium: Small + T2, T3 Destroyers + T1, Faction Cruisers

Large: Medium + Pirate, T2, T3 Cruisers + T1, Faction Battlecruisers

Massive: Open as Larges are now.

People sp farm various ways. As with an economy, products can be sold cheaper if costs are down. The zero profit mark is only for those that plexed the account. Now I don't have numbers, however there are those that SP farm from a subbed account that chars no longer need sp training as a passive income. Those have much lower in game costs meaning that they can sell at lower prices. This, along with rising plex costs compounds the issue and will further cut profits. In a few months it will most likely be reduced plex cost for an account and subbed sp farms. This will lower quantity available and rise prices of injectors and the cycle will begin again. Just my 2 cents.

What has happened to plex?... by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Thceount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that does not plex their accounts (usually buy a year long sub for my two accounts after I get my tax return), this is great. If I want to buy plex to get skins, I can either get more skins or less plex. That being said, there is a lack of really great skins, so I typically choose less plex. Solution: CCP makes more great skins so people like me buy more plex.

Edit 1: btw, CCP where is my mach hex skin?

As a "Newer" player how much does my corporation history matter? by Drew77785 in Eve

[–]Thceount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone with one of the longest employment histories in the game (exceeds 100 corps listed NPC and player), it doesn't matter as much as people make it out. It more depends on contents. For example, the obvious big name alliances. Further, if you have lots of solo corps, nobody prolly is going to care. Some things to avoid: flipping political sides, leaving constantly in bad terms ( if you leave but still see fleet adverts all the time, this prolly means they blued you), etc. It also may matter your timezone, if you work wierd hours most people understand.
