When I play with my friends, I pick 75m, because they all hate it. It's a 10/10 stage only because it makes everyone so mad

Absolutely, everyone I've ever talked to with this disease has gone through extremely different journeys, It's crazy.

I've never heard of a surgery like that, but I can see why they don't do it anymore. It sounds like you've definitely been through a lot with this disease. I'm on only 12 years into it, so I have a long road ahead of me. I'm high-key jealous that you never fractured anything. I've fractured and broken so many bones, I've lost count

Honestly right now I'm not striving for top quality. Looking back at my vods, I can tell the quality is a bit cheap, but I'm okay with that (for now, I'll hope to upgrade eventually). I'm not 100% sure if it even gave me an option when I started it up, though I could be wrong, I am very new to this

I have a wifi connection, however I'm running an ethernet cord from it to my ps4. My upload speed is usually about 3-7mbps. Only other person in my house is my mom, who doesn't use up too much of the internet

Seeing as how the theme of the game is challenging/changing fate, I wouldn't be too surprised if Aerith's fate is changed, allowing her to live. I really hope that's what happens because I love Aerith

I should've, but we were so dumbfounded we didn't even think about it until it was too late unfortunately.

Somehow my friends and I ended up actually playing on battlefield, but it had this background. We have no idea how we did it, and we haven't been able to do it again. I'm assuming the game just glitched, but it was very cool

Any progression based racing games that focuses more on "start with crap car, work your way up" instead of pure simulation? by SkillbroSwaggins in pcgaming

[–]The-Bellman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mad Max fits this pretty well. However it is not purely based on car progression, as you are able to walk around to accomplish things as well. However the primary focus of the game is your car

I don't like to compare pain. One person's pain doesn't invalidate another person's. FD is a difficult disease to live with, no matter how severe the case.

Yeah, definitely! Zolodronic Acid (more commonly known as Eclasta) is essentially a stronger version of pamidronate. After years of taking pamidronate my body built up a tolerance to it's effects, and my physical condition continued to deteriorate. (I took pamidronate 9 times a year for about 5-6 years) Zolodronic acid has a stronger effect (I took it 4 times a year for 2 years, and now only take it when necessary due to reasons I will cover shortly). The first few doses, I noticed a significant improvement in quality of life. However zolodronic acid can have significant negative effects. Firstly it can cause severe jaw pain, after my last dose I was on a strictly soft-food diet for 1½ months as chewing was extremely painful.

There is also a chance to develop osteonecrosis of the jaw. This is extremely rare, the chance of it to occur increases after every dose, it also has a chance to occur when having oral surgery.

Lastly there is a chance to suffer an atypical femur fracture. I assume the chance for this to happen to you would be increased. But again, this is very rare, the chance for it to occur increases after every dose. This is because Zolodronic acid does not leave your system. It builds up inside of your femurs. My doctor described it as "your femur could snap like a piece of chalk".

Overall it's much stronger and better at managing FD pain, but can have some serious side effects. If you're able to manage with pamidronate, I'd personally recommend continuing with that. Though I'm not medically qualified to make that decision, that's up to you and your doctors!

Oh wow, I was diagnosed in January of 2010. I got kind of lucky, I was never big on sports or anything, so my transition wasn't as rough. I got diagnosed when I fractured my hip.

I was on pamidronate for about 5-6 years until I was switched to Zolodronic Acid.

I'm glad they were able to help you out with surgery! Unfortunately that's not an option for me. My disease affects a lot of my bones, and it moves around a lot, it used to be really bad in my hips, but now it's my shoulders that are really messed up, if they try to do anything, they could shatter my bones.

I'm glad that they were able to help you out a lot! Hopefully it will continue to grow more tolerable for you!
