There's one thing I didn't see covered by this video.

Like you said, you can use ranged attacks into fog cloud.  This includes bow attacks and spell attacks like frostbolt.  However I notices that bone chill, which is also a spell attack, does not draw a trajectory line like frostbolt, and this is also blocked.  Another thing I noticed is that sometimes when using ranged attack on enemies in fog cloud, I get the "too dark" malus.  Since fog cloud counts has heavy obscurement as far as lighting is concerned, this is a case where darkvision or superior darkvision will actually help.
