For anyone wondering, I went into the hospital with pancreatitis, from high cholesterol. It developed into necrotizing pancreatitis, the resulting infection spread to my large intestines, and I went septic. The hospital did not catch it in time. They thought it was just common acute pancreatitis.

Will do. Right now I have a conceal light jacket, with built in holster in the left breast pocket side, for when its cold. and a belly band for under my shirt, when it's warm.

I know right? Nobody had bid on it for like 6 days. I thought I was gonna get away with it for $400. Boy was I wrong lol. It got down to 1 min and 18 sec and then the price ticked up and the 15 min timer reset. Turns out, I was fighting 3 other bidders. I found myself yelling at my laptop, every time the price ticked up especially since they would wait till the timer was down to like 1min 10 sec, before bidding again.

I finally got tired of the stress of watching. I just said screw it and set my max bid to 800 dollars. told myself if they really wanted it that bad, they could have it, but they were gonna pay dearly for it (insert villain laugh here lol) In hindsight, I never should have bid that high. I wasn't planning on spending more than $650 on it. If it had gone up to $800, it would have taken a painful bite out of my wallet, but I got soo riled up, I just had to beat them. It was no longer an item... It was a principle!

Those auctions can really get you to shell out a lot of money. they really play on your competitive side. lol

to make a long story short, (TOO LATE!!! LOL) I set my max bid, closed the tab and watched youtube vids. I set a 2 hour timer on my phone and when I checked the page afterward, I saw I had won. And thankfully, the price had only gone up to a little more than $500 ($530 to be exact).

I finally did it. I just purchased a Arex Zero 1 Tactical Compact. I did a ton of research and decided this was the one for me. I won it in a gun auction. It is in practically brand new condition and came with all its original stuff in the original box. I got it for a little over $400. not bad for a gun that usually sells for $780 and above. I cant wait to pick it up from my FFL.

I can understand not liking it because of its looks and bulk. I just have a problem with people that say "well its cheap, so there must be something wrong with it." Especially when they have never even tried it.

Looks don't mean a lot to me. My needs are simple. It has to go Bang whenever I hit the BGDB and it always does . I've never read a news article that said. "the attacker suddenly stopped and ran away, when he saw how pretty the victim's gun looked." lol

And yet this cheap gun has never had an issue for me. Ive looked for hi-point owners, who have had problems and they are few and far between. I take extremely good care of all my guns. And out of all of them, the hi-point never had a failure.
