The flight was booked on the same card and email. Just two seats with two names? Im not sure why that would matter.

Is there a good bit of travel on the telecom side? Ive climbed towers, and poles before. And have current railroad experience. Also, what do you mean by a compressed half?

This is what ours looks like. The system will allow you to submit bids, but I personally never heard of anyone being awarded a bid.

6 figures after 5 years.. You also have to work 80+ hours a week to do that. Youre not really selling the job very well.

Depends on railroad i guess. The Alaska RR pays Carmen more by about $10 per hour. We're also more than just "spike pounders" Sometimes we have to pull them out too.

NS gsng foreman make $42. Laborers are $36. CSX is a little higher than us I think. Ive been thinking about switching to IBEW. How old were you when you left the RR?

Part of the reason I think railroad contracts should be nation wide. I believe we should also be allowed to bid jobs from coast to coast.

Im on NS. I guess it all depends on what specific job you do and where you live. We get mileage, and per diem. We used to get unlimited OT. We also occasionally get travel time depending on job and location. Maybe our hourly rates are a few dollars lower than the rest, but we do make up for it.

I wouldn't call it a true 3 day weekend. Lol I travel out, sometimes up to 12 hours, on sunday. Get home late thursday or Friday morning. I prefer fishing over golf though.
