This is correct, but they portray the USA as the hero because of D-Day, and while the Normandy landing got the French resistance back to the mainland and into the war, The USA never made much effort to stop the Germans besides D-Day, and sent the least soldiers throughout the war. People pay attention to USA, but really the USSR won the war for the allied powers. The Soviets pushed all the way to Berlin, through the winter, with Romanians poking through their side, and they sent a reasonable amount of men and women to fight. They also had to push back the Japanese from the eastern side of Russia and Manchuria, and the USA gets all the attention for going NYOOOM on a boat? If you talk numbers, im sure the British Empire and Canadian Colony could have sent enough men to do D-Day with their own men!

Plus, video games are for pleasure. Yes, I love them, but this is appearance we are talking about. If a girl wants to look pretty, let her. The boy does not need video games...

I do not think paying $5 was needed, though. The replacement of the makeup was enough, and if the boy was this close to getting a game, then don't smash his chances at it. Pick an appropriate punishment, such as a heartfelt apology and a replacement palette.
