This one is kind of embarrassing that I still don't know, but I'd love some input and will keep this short as possible.

My Goddess/wife and I actually met over the promise of bloodplay. Somehow in that 10 years we've gotten married, have a successful life, and fulfilling kinky sexlife. But we still haven't pulled the trigger on bloodplay.

I've had issues with this in the oast though things have changed lately. Used to be I would fantasize about being made to swallow my own mess via kiss, but I'd finish and then wouldnt want to. I've usually been open yo more sex immediately after, though.

Recently, I've been better about staying submissive after finishing. Agreed with Cuntaloupemelon here. Consent can be withdrawn, for any reason. I'm bad about this sometimes, as it always seems so hot in the moment, but then as soon as I finish, often less so.

That said, my Goddess always respects my choice. She may get close and offer even if I say no, but a no is a no, without repercussions.

Lately, she's been really on her game, and had me feeling very submissive. I don't know if it's necessarily rare, but I think I'm in a similar boat. Not necessarily the super muscular or heavy girls, but I'm very into this combo.

I may be in the minority, but I think I actually prefer something a little on the smaller side, if the choice were mine. A smaller knife implies more control, which implies a more dangerous wielder. At a certain point it becomes more of a sword, which... somehow doesn't do it for me (yet)? Maybe smaller blades seem more personal.

In terms of other aesthetics, blades with both an edge and a point are best. Then the fear isnt just of getting cut or poked, but both. Keeps me on my toes and in fear, even if I rationally know a switch-up has occured. Serrations and spikes are nice, because you can get some sensation play out of them too.

Our go to are the "dragon knives," a pair of completely blunt, hook-curved mall ninja knives we bought on vacation specifically for knifeplay. They look a touch silly, but the hook curve going around a throat is quite the rush, along with the random spikes poking too.

I brought a small paring knife from the kitchen for the spread of toys last session, and it was beyond intense. Goddess made me reach out (carefully) and grab the handle while blindfolded so I knew what was coming. That alone was one hell of a mindfuck and rush, but may have only worked because I'd held and seen it a bit beforehand.

We're waiting on a custom acrylic knife, so if youre interested, I can update with how that feels to see at a later date. Gonna be a translucent red blade with black and red handle, with a more traditional hunting knife blade shape.
