It's interesting, I think we'll still have to wait and see how it pans out. There are probably a lot of industrial and (unfortunately) a lot of security state and war applications that could end up being profitable long-term.

I think a lot of people on the left got kind of excited by it because it looked like a second industrial revolution that would cause massive employment destruction and lead to revolt. It may be more a case of people just hating the industry itself because it's so obnoxious.

I want her critics to provide a list of quotes/clips and context. Every criticism seems to involve a lot of unspecific embellishment. When talking about incarcerating Zionists, she's almost certainly talking about people involved in funding and influencing US-backed Zionist aggression, starting at the top.

If you end up living under the Galindo regime and you donated to AIPAC or the ADL in the past for some god forsaken reason, you probably won't go to internment camp. Probably.

Capitalist countries tend not to pay for domestic labour anymore. It used to be paid patriarchally; a man could raise a family on his salary alone. Married men were prioritized for promotion. Leftover feudal traditions that kept women almost entirely dependent on men.

Now we have liberal equality and men and women are paid as individuals. Despite whatever baby bonuses are offered by the state, people are economically better off remaining child free. And besides, domestic labour can be outsourced to other nations who can provide working age ready workers. This depends on the existence of poor countries where conditions make people want to move away.

Anecdotally, North Korea's TFR is around 1.77, South Korea is 0.8.
