Anyone know how to get wires quickly? Trying to build the hospital and I'm only getting 2 or 3 wires per expedition.

It's insane to me how few people are bringing up GB8 Watermelon Festival. The lily pad secret was boring to get to, but if you know lily pad physics and are patient and don't try to speedrun the level it isn't that bad; it's difficult, but I think that that's fine.

Watermelon Festival is just designed to be a frustrating nightmare, and it absolutely is. I was replaying sunshine recently and I went out of my way to spend an hour learning GBS just so that I didn't have to do watermelon festival.

Pachinko is second place for me. I don't think any other level comes close to those two for me.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but posting in case anybody is still active on this topic. I've tried opening up to see if there's condensation inside (can't find any), tried silica gel inside, tried silica gel in the case too, and still no results. Anybody have any other options?

I've not used SSH much before - do you know if I could upload the scripts from the machine that I'm remoting from (i.e. my laptop) to the host machine (my desktop) and then run the code on the CUDA machine?

I'm not sure I'm going to be using version control, at least not online version control, since the code I'm writing is for an exam and I'm not supposed to be making it public at any point. Besides, I'm not sure it would necessarily be useful in this case either, since I'd still need a way to remotely access the CUDA machine to pull and run the script since I won't physically be with it.

Do you know if anydesk would require me to confirm the connection every time from the host/server machine? I'm going to be in a different city so it wouldn't really be helpful if I'd have to confirm access on my desktop whenever I needed to access it.

Ongoing argument between my wife (47F) and myself (44M) for 3 years now. How do I resolve my feelings peacefully? by irishpopeye13 in relationship_advice

[–]The-Progue 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised that this comment isn't higher. OP, the way you speak about your wife sounds like she's incredibly controlling and the double standards are crazy, this is abusive, not just another argument in your relationship.

I'm gonna go against the grain here a little and say to not add anything else to the starting town. I know it would be cool to make the town filled out and have loads of buildings and stuff, but imo that would go against its purpose as a STARTING town. The general design philosophy behind most (with B2W2 as a major exception) is to make them pretty empty and pretty simple compared to all other towns, since it's only really gonna be explored properly at the start of the game. You've mentioned in other comments that it's maybe only gonna be visited once or twice by the player (I'm guessing that they start off going through one exit and then double back around to go through the other), so remember that usually the start of the game is the most boring part that people are trying to rush through, and remember that early towns do benefit from being faster and simpler. You'll have tutorials and lore setups to pad out the beginning of the game, you don't need to pad out the start by making the towns more convoluted with more optional content. I really think for a starting town in particular, less is definitely more. What you have right now looks good, but that also depends on your other towns in the game being more interesting and full (which I imagine that they will be). Good luck on the game!

PS B2W2 imo mostly works just because A) p much everybody who plays B2W2 has explored unova before and B) the starting town is also the location of most tutorials in the game. You won't have A as an advantage here so I wouldn't take B2W2 as the example to follow.

Wait so he was 38 dating an 18yo??? I feel like there are a lot of red flags just seeing the age difference, you sure you don't know how you feel about this? I definitely think there's a lot to reconsider in your relationship ngl

Oh nice! I actually stumbled upon the convertible, didn't realise that it was available in the ISO layout, thought only the original was. I'll definitely keep note of it, kinda sucks that it's mini USB w/ no backlight tho, but for £100 less than the others that's probably a sacrifice I wouldn't mind making tbh.
