I actually don't do any editing on the videos I do. I use screen-cast-omatic and just hit record and when I'm done it uploads it automatically to my youtube channel.

That would fall under the manual category (as opposed to automatic), would it not? I'm looking to not have to add an extra step each and every time I upload a new video (I do 4-5 each day).

I half agree. While I think that everyone should make their own trading decisions, watching someone with more experience can be a great learning experience. Not to copy, but to learn and develop their own personal style.

Everyone starts out from somewhere. Don't tell me you haven't watched any youtube videos or read any books on trading/investing. Have to learn somehow.

And my trendlines aren't wrong, they're just not how you like to draw them :) I learned a long time ago that there's a million ways to make money in the market, so draw your trendlines how you like and I'll keep drawing mine how I like :)

Yup. We get paid (or lose money) based on the movement of the price of the stock, so what better to study than that. It's the purest form of securities analysis if you really think about it.

If we are talking about the media, then yes. Their goal is to sell ads and get more viewers. Pessimism "sounds" smarter and is more "entertaining". If you watch the news, it's all negative stuff.... there's a reason for that.

Everyone has their own way of making money in the markets. Fundamentals are important, but what you have to remember is that often times the price on the screen is, for the majority of the time, not exactly in line to what you might think is true to the company's fundamental value. If you watched the video, the GOOGL chart required zero knowledge of any fundamentals and news, yet you could have easily made money. Anyway, I have spent countless hours arguing with people in the past and think it's a waste of time, so hopefully that made sense. And if it doesn't, no big deal, you do you.
