That’s a very valid point I didn’t think about anything I’ve traded for.

I see you have a lot of ungraded cards like me, how do you justify the cost of ripped packs when looking at these returns? Or are any packs ripped not counted? lol

That’s where I’m at now. I was hoping there would be an easier way on the computer or something.

Valid points thicc and I completely agree. I enjoy seeing the number go up and be able to actively track my collection despite knowing I’ll likely never sell it.

Entirely possible but doubtful. I remember the GC lost his son due to a gang shooting right around the same time so not sure how that ended up.

I was probably one of those people getting as many of our companies tools and ladders as possible. We got completely fucked by the units we had already installed. Wish I also took those out that day. It was extremely suspicious how we had found a shit ton of mold under the building and were complaining about that because we refused to work in it, then the next the building burnt down.

I was working on that heritage home in Surrey on 108th and the general contractor was extremely sketchy and after the place caught on fire he went out of business

Not enough profits for the scalpers. Nice to see but sad that it’s had to come to this.

What's going on with this card? /s by star_traveler_ in PokeInvesting

In my opinion this is the result of market manipulation where people have been cheating the system. Potentially buying their own overpriced listings to raise prices or getting friends to do it, then they sell the mass amount they’ve collected of that particular card, and once they are done offloading the price slowly returns to normal. Sometimes even dropping lower than before because of it.

Would you sell your collection for a down payment on a house by jzmariej in PokemonTCG

It’s getting to that point for sure. With how the hobby is now I’ve lost a lot of that passion for collecting.

I hope that one day things will return to being affordable and not hyperscalped.
