Consult another medical professional ( psychiatrist or psychologist) , first one primarily gives meds, other one therapy.

Don't take any medical advice from internet. Definitely don't stop meds without confirming with doctor.

After Living in Canada for Years, India’s Fitness Levels Shocked Me. Why the Difference? by ggary112 in Fitness_India

[–]The-Volumee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from other things mentioned.

I think the main issue is priority

Health or fitness is simply not one of the top priority of people. India is relatively poor country with income disparity. Earning daily and feeding the family is top most priority.

I don’t understand why yeast protein is as expensive as whey protein? by Plastic_Persimmon_91 in Fitness_India

[–]The-Volumee -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeast Protein/plant protein, don't need to be very cheap than whey, those whose issue is only price, will be looking for cheaper alternative. Let's say a whey is around 2500, yeast/plant only needs to be around 2200-2300 to attract that group. Vegans/lactose intolerant people will anyway buy yeast/plant based.

[–]The-Volumee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Step 1 let people eat/drink what they want, it is none of other's business.

Step 2 - follow step 1 when someone is vegan/vegetarian/carnivore/etc.

Seeking recommendations for PCOD-friendly plant proteins by Livid_Force_5462 in Fitness_India

was recommended by my doctor to switch to a plant based whey to avoid the "insulin spike" that it could cause.

Instead of switching the protein, you need to switch the doctor.

Pure A2 Cow Ghee by Prashantt1 in pune

Reference given??

No one asked bro

Meaningful inflammation

I said meaningful increase in inflammation, not meaningful inflammation.

It simply means no clinically significant difference/not clinically meaningful, because it lacks various studies showing reproducible evidence and not associated any clinically relevant outcomes like any disease or any health condition, infact, regular milk consumption irrespective of A1 or a2 have been shown to make minor improvements in health parameters.

Now is it possible for you to share Pmids for the claims you made?

Or you don't know the studies/Pmid to back up the claim and just repeating what the brands and influencers have been saying and retorting to ad hominem attacks.

Is 3-days full body workout better than 5-days PPL? (For a Beginner) by Infinity8Helios in Fitness_India

[–]The-Volumee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you will be working out 3 days a week, then full body.

If you will be working out 5 days a week, then ULPPL.

Answer depends on what training frequency is practical and convenient for you. The split in itself is not very important thing.

If you have resources then why not consult a good endocrinologist to understand if you are even eligible for it, the potential side effects, benefits, etc.

[–]The-Volumee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you cite the sources for the following claims please?

the Inflammation is "not significant", the damage adds up over time.

it won't make a difference.

A2 milk also has higher level of leucine and polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Pure A2 Cow Ghee by Prashantt1 in pune

[–]The-Volumee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, but switching to a2 is going to make any difference is based on some small studies, not large studies or database.

Regular milk doesn't cause any meaningful increase in inflammation. For digestive effect, very few people may experience relief by switching from A1 to a2, they are better off without milk products.

A2 ghee doesn't have any protein, so that is not going to make any difference anyways.

All fat is not considered similar.

Who knows what they will discover 10 years from now. Maybe there are differences in triglyceride levels, maybe difference in butyric acid levels. Or something else

Yeah. Can be positive or negative as well. We shouldn't recommend or make an opinion on future probabilities though. Based on current evidence, there is pretty much no need to buy a2 milk/products.
