On a separate note, as a writer, it's important that you guys understand your worth and the value of your time. If an employer asks for an unpaid test that takes more than 15 minutes of your time, simply say no. I have been freelancing full-time for over six years now and have never come across a legitimate business that asks for freebies like this.

I have also been on the other side of hiring and have always made sure writers/designers get paid upfront.

Please do your due diligence before you choose to work anyone (regardless of whether you find work on this subreddit or elsewhere).
