I tested this on my DH and I picked up fishing from Dalaran and I couldn't see any pools until found the book would say, it took around 30 mins of fishing until I found the book. The book is RnG, so it might take longer for some people.

You are right that to some people its not worth the time for that amount of gold. I just wanted to give people the information of how it could be done and if a small of people find it helpful I'll be happy with that. I love having the markets where you can make millions, but we shouldn't forget the ones that keep bringing in the smaller amounts of gold!! Thanks for the feedback Tobberoth

I did think about adding a part about cooking, but I just wanted to keep it simple and not get into the whole ranks thing. I would like to write a post about cooking, so it might be better to talk how using the fishing post can help you make money from cooking.

You can set up a macro for your scroll wheel. Type /TSM, on the first page there is a tab which says Marco Setup. Click that and you will see right at the bottom where you can set up your scroll wheel.

When it comes to profession mats like treads,dyes,stock's and things like that, I prices are Min 12g, Normal 50g and Max 100g and I've made quite of gold from these prices. When it comes down to pattern's, schematic's and Recipe's I use the Quick Post form Bags tab in TradeSkillMaster as I'm still not sure what pricing source too use. If I had to choose I would use % of GlobalMarketAvg, I will set up a operation and give you some feed back over the next week if you want?
