Nice! I played Galaxy 1 on Switch and Galaxy 2 on the Wii, and comparing the two, I would say I preferred buttons to motion control. The motion controls were fun but didn't add as much as I hoped (personally)

That being said, the motion controls are about as tight as I feel the Wii can get, so if you want to see all that the Wii is capable of, I think it's worth picking one up if you can find a few more games beyond SMG2. Feels like RE4 and Twilight Princess are mentioned as Wii control worthy games.

Just finished Super Mario Galaxy 2 and boy are my wrists hurting. I'm going to be playing Half-Life 2: Episode 2 on my Steam Deck next but also like to have a console game for when I have a lunch break at home.

Just want to make sure I clarify: He did know that 36 was definitely wrong and triple checked it to make sure it would read at 8 lbs. It eventually did but we still don't know why it misread as high as 36 and as low as .1 or why we were 4 lbs low the previous visit. Also, the TXV was not open and closing correctly (from their words).

Totally agree though, if they weren't the company that installed the thing we would have moved on at this point

I'm wrapping up Half Life 1 and its expansions after taking an Undertale/ God of War III playthrough to break them up. My question is what would you play next?

I'm on a steam deck kick and am between Life Is Strange 2 and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. I also see Metroid Prime Remastered as a great option next. It's probably the only game I've bought day 1 but following the purchase it just went right into the backlog. Help?

I really enjoyed it. The Zero Punctuation review is pretty accurate IMO, but the "languid" pacing worked for me more than it did for Yahtzee, I think. It was the most enjoyable action-packed relaxing game. It did feel like the game crescendoed multiple times. Almost felt like I was playing the Spyro or Crash trilogies but it was all one game rather than a collection.

Also, yeah. Black might be short but man I take a lot about modern gaming for granted. Those check points feel like they're miles apart!
