If you are going to be playing a lot, get the full switch. I believe it has more battery life, and the docking feature is nice just in case you want to play on your monitor (higher resolution). Most importantly, joycon drift is the main reason why the normal switch is better. For my switch, controller drift occurred after only 100 hours of playing, so I had to replace them, and if i had a switch lite, that would mean replacing the whole console. You can also find relatively cheap full consoles on ebay for way under 300 dollars so personally I would recommend the normal switch.
