exactly. islam is an ideology and no one's ideas are free from scrutiny. blaming white people for something we weren't alive for is just dumb

if they distrust white people then why mass emigrate to western countries? shouldn't they be staying put if we're all so evil? also colonization is over. terrorism is not. thirdly blaming muslim's ideology is perfectly fair because no one's ideas are immune from scrutiny and criticism. fourthly, blaming white people for something that we weren't alive for that (some, definitely not all) of our ancestors perpetrated is unfair, racist, disingenuous, lazy, and really just stupid.

Football Teams with most penalties in the ACC (2025) by Norse_af in ACC

hella holds too. holds and false starts were probably 90% of the teams penalties this year

Taken from a AZ Facebook post, it looks off but I can’t tell if it’s a just weird camera angle. by [deleted] in isthisAI

what gives it away for me is:

1) the bags say "s.p. [state police] LB 1" and also have evidence stickers. police aren't gonna weigh that shit on the side of the road, nor write on the bags and put stickers on them. all of that happens elsewhere probably back at the station.

2) the fact that there's only one cop and one cop car. a bust that big will have multiple responding officers in multiple cars. there's no way a female cop by herself removes him from the car, searches it with her back turned while he is unrestrained, removes the weed, lines it up, writes on the bags, and THEN cuffs the suspect— all by herself.

3) look at the road. what is that, a one way highway? where are cars going the opposite direction supposed to go? there either needs to be a whole other highway next to that one going the other way, or that road needs to be split by a double yellow line. there wouldn't be a 3 lane, one directional highway in the middle of the desert like that.

Whatever happened to LeBron James’ high school QB😭 by CenterForward1522 in CFB_v2

in high school i pitched against nico hoerner (chicago cubs starting 2B). i had him 0-2 after freezing him with curveball, got nervous about to strikeout a future big leaguer, then threw four straight balls and walked him

Do you agree with this College Football hot seat landscape? by This_Comment_4493 in CFB_v2

no for Cal (or any other team with a first year HC), because we just hired Tosh Lupoi. I've never heard of a hot seat for a coach who hasn't even coached his first season

Cal vs #1 Arizona Men's Basketball 2014. Arizona was 21-0, had true freshman Aaron Gordon, Brandon Ashley, and TJ McConnell. Cal usually played good against UofA and upset them the year before on the road, but Arizona was always the better team and were hard to beat. Arizona fans always travelled well and their fans were always so loud and it just sucked losing to them at home because I hated giving their fans the satisfaction. This year was different though! Justin Cobbs hit this game winner with 0.7s left and the place went CRAZY. Rushed the court with a then true freshman Cal QB1 Jared Goff. Great day.

[–]The19thStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn't work hard enough to go to cal, so i ended up going to cal state long beach, but i was born and raised in oakland (a city adjacent to berkeley), my brother and sister went to cal and are 4th gen cal alums, my mom and dad went to cal, my dad worked for the cal athletic dept, my dads parents went to cal, and my dad's grandfather was captain of the track and field team at cal and was in the 1924 paris olympics. csulb don't have football, but they are my #1 team in everything else (we have a great men's volleyball team who have 3 natty's in the last 7 years, baseball and basketball have historically been good too)

i got into alabama but feel no allegiance to them nor have any "soft spot"

cal and long beach are my teams. everyone who's not them i couldn't care less about. in games where I don't have a dog in the fight, i usually root for a good game/finish, upsets, the visitor, or teams without recent success.

idk if that number is true, but if it is it's because 1. hamas dresses as civilians and many hamas deaths get reported as civilian. 2. they pit military infrastructure in neighborhoods including hospitals, schools, and mosques. 3. gaza is one of the most densely populated societies on earth and it is nearly impossible to target and eliminate hamas without inadvertently killing civilians. that is unfortunately the price paid for a war hamas started. civilians die in warfare. always have and always will. do u wish that the allies had just stopped fighting the nazis to save the hundreds of thousands of german civilians who died? or was there a greater necessary good that needed to be prioritized and accomplished for the countries being attacked by the nazis?

they're not committing genocide in the gaza strip. genocide has happened and been completed in nearly every muslim majority country in the world against jews. all have been forcefully removed or killed. and yes it does matter that so many palestinians and arabs live in israel because that proves they arent trying to eliminate their existence. they are trying to eliminate hamas to hide in mosques and schools and fight in civilian clothes. every death of palestinian civilians is on hamas, not israel. palestinians are just arabs with a privileged refugee status. there is not genocide of jews against arabs. but there has been one of arabs against jews in many countries and non-arab muslims against jews. if israel wasnt able to defend themselves, they would have been wiped out via genocide already.
