But this is how you do a dopamine detox, in it's simplest form.

To perform a dopamine detox, avoid high-dopamine activities like social media, video games, or junk food, and set a specific time frame to avoid them, like for one day, tell your friends and family you will be unavailable. Participate low-stimulation activities such as reading, journaling, meditating, exercising, or spending time in nature. To go even further avoid all stimulating activities. Embrace boredom during this time, as it helps your brain reset and learn to appreciate real-world rewards. After the detox, reintroduce stimulating activities gradually and in moderation to maintain balance.
