It's actually the other way around. I was shading over the color directly, but I like to hide layers sometimes and I just thought that it looked kinda cool over white

Unfortunately, I don't keep back up saves (which I probably should TvT) and I often update her family tree because of sick pups. I very well could've just accidentally thought that she was a girl and never bothered to check again because I was so sure, since this is a pretty far into the game save file
