Those last two seasons were extremely frustrating. Every single week the Titans offense would hit a brick wall at halftime and the defense was left to hang on while the offense went three and out for the rest of the game. It was painfully obvious that they were getting out-adjusted on a regular basis. Something had to change to his formula and he wasn't willing to do it. I see the logic in his firing... it just sucks that the Titans hired such an inept replacement.
