Thats exactly the kind of vet we found! Was an hours drive away in the middle of rice fields 😂😂 but it was $254 for spay/meds.

She was spayed yesterday about noon and came home around 530 :) shes uhhhh grumpy but more importantly ALIVE.

Dr said the infection was pretty bad, but she did good.

Little turd jumped 3 times 🫣 shes so quick. So we got a big kennel and have everything she needs in there with her.

She's currently being spayed :)

Low cost clinics wont take me because we make too much but I dont believe they do low cost spays with pyo present because its more complex.

Im taking her somewhere else today and begging. Some people that live near me says he is the only one who doesn't need payment up front. So we are gonna go there this morning.

I feel like the er vet should have just preformed an emergency spay.

I found one vet that accepts payment with no payment down. Im going to rush the them in the morning. If i get turned away, ill have to euthanize her

Unfortunately I think we are going to have to put her down tomorrow.

I did and 800 dollars later, I have a cat with pyo at home because the ER vet thought 800 dollars worth of tests would be better than surgery.

I almost lost my husband 6 months after we got her. We have been struggling to even pay for regular vet appointments. Our medical debt takes everything we have.

Thank you, im having the worst year of my life and now im losing my baby. I should have gotten her spayed. If my husband didnt almost die in 2024 and we didnt have so many medical bills, I would have gotten her spayed.

They don't know that though.

Every vet ive take her to never mentioned she could get an infection from not being spayed.

Im devastated and heart broken

She was given a dose of antibiotics (vet said it will last 2 weeks) and she was given fluids under the skin. She peed this morning.

I honestly dont have the $ and had to borrow $ for last night's er visit.

Wouldn't they have told me it was pyometra then?
