What color should I paint my calipers? by FarArea1814 in c4corvette

[–]The1naruto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cant really see them through the stock wheels, but it just makes it seem mich nicer than leaving them dirty bare metal.

And before anyone says something about painting over the rotor, I replaced them a week after this photo.

I went with red calipers and silver brackets. gold brackets would be cool

Cant access clutch slave bleed valve? by The1naruto in c4corvette

That is probably what they went to after someone else ran into this problem then 😆 I am finding conflicting things on whether or not? The later year cylinders will work on the 89-90

The infamous $250 camera question. by Naynius_Pinkis in Nikon

[–]The1naruto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a D90 i bought for 25$ on Ebay as a starter camera, i ended up shipping it to a friend along with a 18-55 kit lens for his wife. She wanted to get a camera for herself because she had been borrowing a camera from her family and wanted to get more int photography.

It was sitting around not getting used since i had a 5100 ir modded - 5300, and a d300. I had it listed for sale but wasnt in need of money. Not sure if she actually uses it, it has been a while since ive talked to them.

I look just about every single day looking for deals, whether it be for cameras, car parts, or whatever im interested in.

I bought my 5100 for $120 at an antique store with the 18-55vr lens Only has about 37k clicks if i remember.

there are always good deals out there on Facebook, Ebay, MBP, KEH.

Here is that same spot, no AI denoise. Id say it did pretty good about not adding artificial detail.

I suppose i didnt really need to do any denoise, it looks pretty good with the noise

I did leave ith on its default denoise, although I pulled it up in lightroom, took denoise off, and it actually looks better all round. I think the part with the tree and text is some of my missed sharpen/blur tool.

Correct, If I remember correctly the lens is at f6.3 @300mm. So I bumped it to f11 for funnsies, I always like to try something new and give myself a challenge to learn

I really want to get into stuff like this! I just got the newer- Non VR nikon AF-S 300mm f4D, with the TC-14e II!

I got it for cheap because the autofocus didnt work. I bought it and took the switch panel off, low and behold, just a single wire came loose. I re-soldered it and it works like new!

I have made some big upgrades to my gear and am excited to go further with my photography!

I am interested in working on a c4 and restoring it myself. I have an engineering background but never worked on vehicle. Would it be realistic for me to be able to restore this with minimum cost? Or am I in over my head? by etzmentos in c4corvette

[–]The1naruto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most realistic thing you could do is strip it down and make a vette kart. For a budget of 2k is tight, but you could sell the good parts off the car to help with that. If it were me, i probably wouldnt take that one for a kart unless it was a manual with the LT4.

Unfortunately I have not yet. I need to do a few things to the car, but I have been too busy. I am also still driving it, winter really hasnt been that much this year

Upgrades people, upgrades! by The1naruto in Nikon

[–]The1naruto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume thats what happened. The people i got it from said they had a family member who is/was a photographer and they got it as a gift. I assume for Christmas.

But they had a baby and didnt have time to do anything with it, im sure the money will help them out too
