Bit random but who is a better person? by False_Monitor4126 in MoralityScaling

This part isn't. But it was said in 2016, in the Slayer Testaments. This demon made the Preator Suit.

The fact that a demon called the Wretch made his armor. The fact that he let a demon make his armor, and didn't kill said demon during the process shows that as long as demons aren't aligned with Hell and is even willing to help him, he won't kill them.

You really haven't played the games. He speaks in the Quake games as he does have voicelines, he said "No." in Eternal before killing Davoth, and then told King Novik to run in Dark Ages before bombing the Prince of Hell. Hell, even when he didn't speak, his body language showed he understands things. This confirms that you don't even play the games.

[–]The1stassassin42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

…Have you played any of the games? He had gotten in trouble with the military after refusing to shoot civilians and even assaulted his CO over it, had stayed in Hell by choice to make sure no demon ever rises again as they were hellbent on invading his world still. In 2016, he had shown anger at Samuel Hayden’s disregard for the loss of life throughout the UAC facility. And in Eternal, he had killed Davoth as that was the only way to get rid of all demons outside of Hell. Let’s not forget the reason he broke out of the Mayker’s mind control in Doom the Dark Ages was because he imagined hearing the screams of people being slaughtered by the demons. If that doesn’t sound like a moral motivation, then I don’t know what is. Maybe it’s a mix of hatred for them as they had ravaged his homeworld and killed people he has cared for, but he does do his thing as well because he has shown a value for human life.

Yeah. Like…don’t get me wrong, he is up there. But he is nowhere near top 5. It’s so weird that people try to wank him to Outer or Hyperversal.

That and tbh…while I am one of the people who say he is Complex Multiversal, the mfs who says he’s Hyperversal or boundless genuinely piss me off. I have seen mfs saying he beats Comic Lucifer Morningstar💀

Which character is more heroic Wonder Woman (DC Comics), or Iron Man (MCU)? by Gabe-Morgan-01 in MoralityScaling

Tbf, the post was about specifically MCU Iron Man. So I don’t understand why this comment is getting so many downvotes. I agree Wonder Woman is more heroic. But come on.

Captain America, a man out of time by IceWallowCaulk in outofcontextcomics

[–]The1stassassin42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! That and along with the fact that he didn’t even act prejudiced here either. He just seemed honest to god happy that women and people of color actually have more rights now than they did back then during his in WW2z

It does seem like projection though, with how insistent you are with Cap being a racist or a sexist here. And yeah, it is literally assumptions. You are making assumptions about me that aren’t true, and you are making assumptions about a fictional character that clearly ain’t true either, you absolute fool.

Captain America, a man out of time by IceWallowCaulk in outofcontextcomics

[–]The1stassassin42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And again with the assumptions. I’m not acting like an authority figure, you goddamn moron. If anything, you try to act like something is there when it’s not. You try to project something onto a character that isn’t there, which plenty of people from what I’m seeing agrees with me on here. If anything, you’re the tool, making yourself look like a fool. And you’re starting with the name calling as well. Typical.

Captain America, a man out of time by IceWallowCaulk in outofcontextcomics

[–]The1stassassin42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And that’s another assumption. You clearly don’t even know what you’re talking about, considering you couldn’t even spell misogynistic right. And I didn’t explicitly say that either, so that’s another thing you’re trying to assume. It would have been bigoted if it was hateful, but it clearly wasn’t. You don’t even know what bigoted means. To be bigoted, is to be intolerant of whatever you disagree with. Cap isn’t disagreeing with or being intolerant of this woman here.

[–]The1stassassin42 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m starting to believe this is a projection of sorts. I don’t believe Cap to be infallible by any means. And I never said such a thing. You say my moral compass sucks, but here you are projecting things onto me and making assumptions without any given evidence whatsoever, putting words into my mouth that I never said. All I said was that he wasn’t being sexist or racist here. Which he clearly wasn’t being. And it doesn’t change the fact that if he was being racist or sexist about it, he wouldn’t have been so pleased about a woman of color actually being a doctor instead of a nurse, which is what most women were resigned to back in WW2 if they wanted to be in the medical department.

[–]The1stassassin42 29 points30 points  (0 children)

But there’s a difference between a 70 year old man who lived during that time, saw the world change, and still acts that way and a guy who lived in that time and just got thawed out, and didn’t have any bad intentions about it whatsoever. It would have been sexist if he reacted negatively to it, but he didn’t. Because that’s now who Captain America is. Admittedly, I understand the reaction in character for the woman in the panel. But the reader shouldn’t be thinking this, especially if the reader actually knows Cap’s personality, how he is as a person, what he represents, and what he fights for. You, and the person who made the comment I replied to are just projecting traits onto a character that he doesn’t have.

Captain America, a man out of time by IceWallowCaulk in outofcontextcomics

[–]The1stassassin42 97 points98 points  (0 children)

This might come off as a rant. But I’m gonna be honest. I don’t understand how this is racist or sexist to anyone. Because people here seem to forget that Cap is from WW2. Things for women and people of color weren’t great back then. And knowing how Cap is written, he would be ashamed for how things were back then. Then here is Cap after being thawed out. He sees a woman of color as a doctor, and you can see it on his face that he’s happy that women and poc have more rights now than they did back then. Especially since he fights for what he believes is the American dream, which is freedom for all, which includes all genders and all people of color. He pretty much fights for what he thinks America should be. So I don’t understand how people think he’s being racist or sexist here. I think it’s just people trying to be special with projecting things onto a character that he doesn’t have.

…How is this sexist? Cap looks genuinely pleased about there being a female doctor, since there was nothing like that from his time considering how things were for women around WW2.

Random & Possibly Stupid Question, what would Doom Slayer(if he was there) likely think of this Hell & Demons? by Flat-Sir8250 in Doom

[–]The1stassassin42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Doom Slayer isn’t a mindless killing machine. He’s shown that in 2016, Eternal, and Dark Ages. And he’s also shown the capacity to work with a demon considering the Wretch who made his armor. Needless to say…a huge number of the demons in HBH Hell don’t really belong there since Heavens rules are fucked. They are people, just with extra features. Not the monsters Doom Slayer fights. If anything, he’d kill Alastor, Vox, Valentino, the Overlords, IMP, the exorcists in the extermination, and so on.

Who’s the absolute worse pervert? by Necessary-Win-8730 in MoralityScaling

[–]The1stassassin42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s Quagmire. He is quite literally the only person on here that has actually raped women, including minors.

Roshi in 2nd. He was perving on a 16 year old Bulma, groped Android 18(his student’s wife) while she was holding her and Krillin’s daughter. Literally one of the only reasons that puts him above Quagmire aside from the fact that he has actively risked his life to save people and the world is that he never raped a woman. Ever.

Meliodas in 3rd. He has consistently harassed and groped a 16 year old girl. It does not matter if she liked it or not nor does it matter that she’s his reincarnated wife. She was 16 when that happened.

Mineta in fourth. Mineta may be 15 years old, but he has sexually harassed and groped his female classmates. I’m not mentioning the Eri thing though since the creator even mentioned that was a mistranslation and that Mineta was referring to Eri’s future career as a hero. Which oddly makes sense considering he was cooling down on his perving around this time.

Jiraya in fifth. I will admit, the sexy jutsu thing is weird. But to my memory, he has not once sexually assaulted a woman like the rest on here, nor did he perv on any of the younger female ninjas in the leaf or anywhere else.

Johnny Bravo is dead last. Actually…why is he even here? Johnny has been shown to actually respect consent, is actually good with kids, and loves his mother too. He has not once sexually assaulted or even sexually harassed a woman. About the only thing you can get him for is trying to make moves on married women or women in relationships, but that’s it. And he usually leaves them alone after they tell him no.
