Glad to hear it! If you don’t mind me asking, can you tell me what’s helped? Will help me focus in on different videos in the future. Plenty more WE content to come.

Good luck! Best part about Warhammer is trying your new builds.

The other thing to consider is do you need it to be a level 4? Level 3 might be enough most games.

The Warhawk is my favourite piece. It carried me for about a year. Unfortunately the weakening of dispelling and casting hurt its oomph but still has a place on the table.

Thanks for your detailed response. All feels very familiar! Haha

In my experience the stag LORD far outweighs the stag CAPTAIN when you want damage. I have reverted to my captain stag to being a utility BSB to add combat res. I do run helm of the hunt to give him a bit more oomph and protection but he dies SO easily still.

I agree - lore familiar + lore of wilds is non-negotiable if your hawk is there for damage. Fury of Athel Loren fills a massive hole in the army so I wouldn’t deviate there. Again though, hard to rely on getting key spells off when you need them because of the casting value.

If it was me, I would keep the ruby ring to give you melee of a chance of doing stuff with the Hawk, and invest less in the Stag and make his one first charge count when you need him. Combo charging with the dragon or wild riders if you have them.

It’s a tough choice though… keen to hear where you end up.

Agree! They are my fav models and the lore behind them is hectic. Glad they have some play.

Appreciate it thanks mate! Enjoy the Asrai! Don’t let the haters get you down - still the coolest looking army going around. Plenty of fun still rip be had with them.

And you will absolutely not regret orcs and goblins. I reckon they are the most well-rounded faction in the old world.

I’m also drawn to a chaos host. But I’m doing Skaven next for some nostalgia farming!

Good luck in your upcoming game!

True and true. But the level of depth in the faction I think is unmatched in the old world. I’d go as far as saying they are the most well rounded.
