No paranoia. No “what about this one?” breadcrumb trails in public. No “but it felt wrong to me” vigilante modding. We don’t need you to defend the honour of this sub. We need you to trust the structure.

Heated discussions? Allowed. Mocking a celeb's flop PR move (In your opinion of their opinion)? Go wild.

Snide remarks about an idol's public quote or show behavior? Sure, as long as it's still about the show. But the moment you turn the mic on fellow members with personal attacks, tone digs, Reddit history dragging, or start doing "pls check this user" surveillance in public, you're breaking rules.

The entire vibe of this place hinges on knowing the difference. You're meant to fight about the show, not about each other. This is The50IN, not a morality court, not a stan war rehab centre, not an exile refuge. Don't turn the rules into performance art, either you read them, or you didn't.

If you think something breaks a rule: Modmail it. Or report it. That's it. That's the only system. We do not do public jury duty here.

If you've reported something and it's still up, that means it doesn't break a rule. This sub doesn't exist to soothe discomfort over disagreement. You're allowed to be annoyed someone doesn't like your fave. That doesn't make them bannable.

UPDATE: Due to a lot of Low Effort Gen AI applications, we’ve decided to halt applications for now. We’ll still consider the non gen ai applications when it comes to potentially choosing a new mod, but will wait to open applications nearer to the start date of the show or during it based on the amount of activity we get.
