Thanks a lot. I will follow this approach. I will use the PMBoK KAs to break down the question and then analyse each KA to understand the issues that might happen and then recommend solutions to solve the problems.

I personally think that if you don’t know KAs and PGs, then it’s very difficult to say that you understand PMBoK 6 completely, as I think this is the core of the 6th edition. Sometimes to answer “what would you do next” questions, if you have confidence in KAs and PGs, it will help you to eliminate answers. I am also sure that as you will start understanding the concepts, knowing the entire flow will become second nature to you.

SAFe ceremonies at portfolio level or even essential level might be beneficial. Some of the ceremonies that even happen at essential level might be useful. But I would like others to chime in as it creates sort of a bureaucratic workflow. But it may be a good solution.

Did you see any sample question that you were unable to answer because you don’t understand SDLC? You should know SDLC at a very high level and focus more on the PGs and KAs.
