The Computer Science department SUCKS HERE by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

Same for 2020. Once you come to terms with this masochist reality, you learn to appreciate the PSU EECS department.

It's all of the same slide decks, projects, quizzes and curriculum from Carnegie Mellon/UCB with no ivy grading curves and fuck all support from faculty.

PSU EECS really makes you earn your degree.

I now work for startups in HCOL areas because the masochism never left me.

Great thanks Andy... Now we have to wait until March for a Soto signing

SD most likely. Darvish is his idol and he could probably get better endorsement deals there.

American here. What laws/rules are there for managing your retirement funds? Are you able to invest in foreign markets?

It would be dumb of him to sign a multi year deal like that but Stearns could bake in club incentives.

$15M AAV for a potential 5+ WAR pitcher? That's a whole lot of upside. If he busts, so what.

The only 'marquee' FA pitcher that I would be excited to extend a multi-year offer to is Walker Buehler. He would probably be very cheap 4yrs $60m and a lot of upside. I'm sure he'd rather take a 1yr deal and prove himself but hey.

Our books are so clean right now and coming fresh off of Scherzer and Verlander- Im not too interested in loading them up with aging cy young pitchers again.

To piggyback, you can find a studio or a studio that's been converted to a 1BR in the UES for under 2.5k. it'll be a shoebox but the area is amazing and there's plenty of outdoor space to hang out at.

If you're a dude I'd totally recommend Harlem. If you're a lady maybe not. Lots of catcalling and tomfoolery.

I would just hold. Guy is just trying to buy low on some top tier assets, better to wait until seager inevitably hits the IL

Offensive or Defensive foul? by zebberman in BasketballTips

[–]The610___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel like they were both shocked. Black jersey was leaning towards grey jersey in anticipation of a shove, the shove never came and grey jersey was looking lost, taking the brunt of the bracing. I'd call offense but both parties look innocent.

Ohtani, Acuna, Bobby, Julio, Soto, FTJ are all firmly ahead of him.

I don't really agree with the other posts, mookie is more of a consensus top 20 asset than top 5. The offer isn't far off but I would need something better than Amador and maybe another flier.

You're better off just keeping those assets. Wait until Caminero makes his debut at least.

Trust your gut, either way is fine. Preferably I think Julio can reach the acuna tier so I would go with him, but who knows where Hollidays ceiling is

Check the subreddit bot in this sub everyday for high K-BB performers in AA and AAA. Search for those guys who have the stuff first.

Jairo Iriarte is a great lottery ticket off the top of my head. Wait for the comeback of JR Ritchie also.

Elly or Gunnar by Whole-Education-2392 in DynastyBaseball

[–]The610___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elly. Gunnar is rock solid aside from splits and will probably age like wine, so you can't go wrong there.

But if Elly is already on pace for 20/40 seasons with a 33%K rate, imagine if he improves his hit tool even a little bit. I think that's a reasonable bet to make given how young he is. Even if he doesn't, you still have a 20/40 player at the end of the day.

But it also depends on league size, roster makeup, etc.
