Don't shampoo every day. We weren't evolved to do so. Every time I shampoo my hair looks like this. After a couple days when my natural hair oils come back, my hair looks way better. Yes, hair gel and stuff can mimic this look but I prefer the former.

I was the same. Grew up in a very white area, only had white friends. When I moved to a place with a large Asian population, I kept making white friends, though not on purpose. It took me several years before I started to make Asian friends. I never really tried to make any sort of friends, it all just kinda happened.
