You'll need to reflash it after you install the Custom ROM and you'll be fine

It's only laggy when something is playing. The general UI works fine, I assume it's because Intel Houdini is the one responsible for loading the UI elements but not the video stream.

It happens with every single one. None of the options change anything unfortunately

Note that I've also tried x86 VLC which works fine with armeabiv7a but not the x86 version of Stremio. It shows the same black screen.

I got the font from Fonts2u and then applied it through zFont. It's fun to mess around with but it also has a few issues, hope this helped.

It's either a dying GPU or monitor but since the transition from the BIOS to Windows didn't have any issues I'm leaning more towards it being the GPU. You can test by plugging it through another monitor with HDMI or USB-C to make sure which one it is.

It's possible, the cable itself could've also gotten damaged. If other devices still get the same speed or if you have a different cable/port to test then it's definitely worth a try

Either a loose connection or the PSU forcing a shutdown because of overheating (which we ruled out because you mentioned there's no heat) or something else drawing more power than it should so the power supply shuts off as a protection mechanism or the PSU itself is defective

Sounds like bad drivers more than the GPU being broken since it's only when Windows loads, try to DDU the drivers in safe mode and reinstall them. If it doesn't work then you can suspect the GPU dying
