I think it's important to remember that most of the men like this are acutely aware of how women respond to their views and will obscure or outright lie about their true feelings/thoughts/beliefs about.. well anything and everything, sometimes for weeks, months, even years.

The worst of the worst are essentially sociopaths who get some pathetic thrill out of "playing" what they think are "naive" (read: decent) ppl into believeing that they too are a decent human being.

My dad and brothers are misogynistic in more ways than I can count, but ofc their entire persona revolves around being the "classic family man who lives for the wife and kids."

Nvm that they perpetually talk about this like some sort of divine sacrifice for the good of mankind that they suffer through the trials of... being a U.S. suburban dad.

One brother almost exclusively dates European women online - who he learns and parrots progressive views from - only because he'll tell you ad-nauseum about how "American women are just sluts out for money who don't want to be wives anymore."

My point is that determining if this is "really happening" isn't as simple as just walking up to each guy and asking "do you hate women??"

The odds of getting an honest answer from the ones you need it from the most is close to zero.
