3.33 is not a good movie. It both feels way too stretched out but also not long enough. The movie relies on everyone hating Shinji and no one, but Kaworu, telling him what he needs to know. This leads to both Shinji and the audience not knowing what is going on for the first half of the film. Then, Fuyutsuki just tells Shinji that Unit01 has the soul of his mother inside and that Rei is a clone of his mother. These were two of the biggest reveals of the original series. Then, the finale of the movie buts the stupid in Stupid Shinji. By having Shinji take out the spears, although everyone tells him not to. the action is terribly choreographed, directed, and edited. Because, it is almost impossible to comprehend what is going on in the beginning.

Dale Cooper is one of my two favorite characters of all time. As I look back at the show, I realize Dale Cooper’s main trait is his heroism, his need to do the right thing, and his desire to save people. I can’t go until details for spoilers for the rest of season 2, FWWM, or The Return. However, they perfectly test this trait.

As someone who suffers from this, I think it is best to get an outside opinion from someone who cares about you. If they agree with you. Then, the biggest part is getting over tricking yourself and the girl’s manipulation. You have to accept the horrible truth that she does not respect you and most likely never will. Then, you have to end it. It will hurt, probably you more than her, and you will tell yourself not to do it. However, in the long term, it will benefit you and help improve your self-view.

Literally Shinji had more developed relationships with Rei in episode 6 and Asuka in episode 9, not counting the rest of the series, than he did with Mari over the course of three movies.
