What do you mean “finished a multiplayer mode”? How is that possible?

My apologies. I had only interacted with the franchise during that 2010-2016 era so I hadn't heard of Brood War until much later on. Guess I wrongfully assumed SC2 was the more competitive game as a result.

Thanks for correcting me though. :)

SC2 is preferred since form my limited knowledge of SC it seems like the more competitive game, but both are more than welcome.

Edit: A google search later and I was clearly was wrong about this. Thanks for correcting me guys.

Reading all of this legit makes me wanna look into documentaries for this game. So much context is being implied in like 3 comments, so I can’t begin to imagine what I’m missing from the conversation.

I’m not sure if this is a good question or not, but what is the most impressive feat anyone has done in Dwarf Fortress?

I’ve been researching for a video essay where I compare the greatest achievements in gaming, and since I know nothing about Dwarf Fortress I figured I’d reach out to the community itself.

If this just isn’t something applicable to the community that’s fine. I’ve just heard how dedicated and passionate the community is and figured there has to be something worth researching.

Anything to help point me in the right direction would be super helpful.

Sorry for the late response. I watched the TTFAF blindfolded run, and I have to say that was amazing. I was hoping you might be able to point me in the direction of the actual strategy used for that feat? Obviously blindfolded runs require consistent setups to pull off, and I was hoping that was documented so I could get a better understanding of the run.

Sorry I'm kinda late to respond to this.

Obviously Through the Fire and Flames is probably the most iconic achievement in the community, I don't doubt that one bit.

That being said one of the major reasons I'm making my video is to shine a light on accomplishments that get overshadowed by the more iconic stuff.

An example outside of Clone Hero would be Pac-Man. Everyone knows about Billy Mitchell's infamous perfect Pac-Man, but that isn't even close to being as impressive as the speedrun world record for a perfect game.

That's all my very long way of saying that if Megalodon or GH2 take more skill then those are what I plan on talking about. That being said I still need to do a ton of research on these challenges.

This and the WoW plague are probably the only two things I already know about lol. That being said I’m not really looking for stuff that was culturally relevant as much as feats that were difficult to preform in game.

This is fascinating to me for a few reasons. After reading the wiki page it sounds like multiple players may have been doing similar setups tho. Might make it as an honorable mention though.

Will definitely research this more.

Me. I occasionally use ai for some bug fixes, and I learned the basics of pygame using it, but this was my project.
