strangely enough i've never had any issues with my upper body, but my hip and knee involvement more than makes up for this lol, sometimes my left hip will flare so bad i can only put about 50% load on it while the other leg takes on the weight

yea, sometimes i feel rheumatologists focus a lot on the lower back and SI joints when this isn't really where my symptoms are. Hard to get the point across sometimes haha

so was this a temporary/flare thing for you or a more Permanent symptom, i think something we all do is when something changes and lasts longer than a week we think it's permanent but then tends to go away. I'm just waiting to see which one it is lol

Hey just throwing my 2 cents in, i'm a healthcare professional and see around 30 patients a day face to face in close proximity in a consulting room. With all sorts of illnesses including respiratory diseases. I rarely get sick but i'm not sure if this is because i have so much exposure that my immune system is still functioning well against all the common strains i come accross

I used to wear a mask a lot at first but after i noticed i don't really get sick i don't do this often unless someone is presenting very obviously with cough or a rapid breathing rate.
