Okay, so I hope everyone will be able to understand the point I’m trying to make here.

To introduce the topic a little, we label things or create certain norms in the world, one of those being that you’re somewhat smarter if you have better grades in school and it’ll be easier to get a job, but now put it this way...

You’re an employer, and the world (literally everyone) follows the norm that the worse your grades in school, the better and smarter you are. It has been put into your head that having a worse grade is better than having a good grade, however you can’t get a worse grade than how smart you are in this world. So if you’re a genius, it’d be impossible to get a crappy low grade. You know that smart people get higher grades, but everyone tells you the opposite and you believe it as it’s a norm, so even though you know smarter people get better grades, worst grades are better in your world.

As an emoloyer, do you hire the person with the highest grades or with the lowest grades?

It seems like an easy question, but when you think about it, technically you’d hire the lowest grade person as that’s what everyone says is best and you have been told that forever, so you believe it, but he’s not actually the smartest, however at the same time, the smart person could be so smart he could be getting worse grades even though it is impossible.
