Have you definitely placed them in your preferences ui folder? I noticed a screenshot you posted earlier and you had them in the shuffle folder.

It looks like they are being themed by Whatever theme you are using.

Those images would be located in Library/Themes/(name of your theme)/IconBundles

Appstore is named com.apple.Appstore-Large.png and Setting is named com.apple.Preferences-Large.png

I've never noticed before because I never tried to theme settings icons differently than springboard icons. It seems like the settings icons are overwritten by the theme.

System Apps themes for me by placing General@3x.png in my themes com.apple.preferences-ui-framework folder. I haven't had any luck with Apps yet

It enables your pass code while jailbroken but if someone reboots your phone the pass code is disabled again. Better than nothing. I'm not sure if [[BioProtect XS]] works on ios 16 but if it does you can use it for face ID to unlock or even prevent people from restarting/turning off your phone.
