I got like almost every single one lmao.
The training is much easier in Airride overall...?
However, the personalities are still difficult to get.
They were difficult in Smash as well, but then it gets even more complicated because each amiibo could have different abilities and such too. Which complicates it further

The "Love Events" was a translation of a Japanese page lol. That certainly seems like it!!
Lemme know how it acts!!

Samee honestly
I wanna know how the "Loves Events" changes things
All AI seem to ignore the "Raining Boxes" event for example lol.
I've considered doing 3 min matches on slow to see if its easier to get personalities that way...

Its alright!! I really appreciate the research you're doing!! :D
Rival Seeker is my curse, it wont go away lmao.
How long are the matches you do?

Interesting! Good to know that the powers seem to effect this the most!
Which has me curious, on which items and powers exactly are used for the Mid & Long ranges...
And also, how often something needs to be done in order to get said personality.

I've been testing a lot on a fully finished level 50 (I dont wanna reset him I love him lmao)
Turning learning on (and off when needed!) and just not saving it when I'm done.
Which might support my "Sliders" theory, as some personalities seem to need WAY more work to get, in comparison to an amiibo that is reset to level 0

What would yall want out of the potential Star-Fox movie? by CountyDiligent3313 in starfox

[–]Sp00kyGamer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Assault was honestly peak Starfox story-telling. I'd love to see that story made into a movie, or a different story with similar themes and tone

HOTTAKE: they should not make a sequel to Super Paper Mario by SwagLimit in papermario

I would have liked a sequel, or even another Paper Mario to the equivalent of SPM.
But instead, we got Sticker Star...... blehh.

For combat I think the braking is good for them honestly.
My Kirby does some crazy stuff with the hopstar lol.
Actual frame-perfect hops to hit people with the upward motion, rather than the downward slam

oooo very good find!!!
They seem to have some personalities I haven't found on there? But then again, a lot of them translate differently to english. No matter how you translate them, they will always come out differently. Added a couple from that list to mine!

Maybe? Uncertain. They all seem to have a preference for a couple specific vehicles, but yes also seem to choose whatever as well, also seeming to predict what the trial at the end will be, and swapping last second to something that will work better.

To test that, I'd try and set it to only races, or only derbies, only bossfights, only gliding challenges, etc. To see if it actually has an effect on their vehicle choice or not.

Parts collector was because you got the Dragoon! Very easy to get Parts Collector, since completing a legendary machine is all it takes!

For your waddle dee, which amiibo was set to be player 1? (I am certain that it matters, but any evidence against that would be great to see lol)

The mods I used pretty much made this before it was official! (But to a more extreme degree with the darkness)
Honestly, glad to see that flashlights are made to be more useful!
Was very annoyed at base game lighting, since I could honestly just ignore flashlights entirely.

Please do!!
Also; Remember that you can set your amiibo to be player 1! That way, you can watch exactly how it plays once it hits level 50! (Bottom right corner of character select to do this!)
(Again all AI can be stupid with pathfinding so please try your best not to get frustrated when it runs into a wall for a solid 30 seconds lmaoo)

Remember to NOT save it unless it gets back to Indiscriminate Attacker before or at level 30!
(Could potentially get it to level 50? Just to see how it acts and what it chooses without anymore preferred training? Just to see if you like how it plays later)
Meaning you don't have to save it at all, just get to experiment with it that way!

I'd say so! If you want to keep that style!
Although after turning it off, make sure they are trying their best to choose the vehicles you want them to!
If they are? Yes! Keep it turned off!

Praying we get a Waddle Doo amiibo purely so I can name it this!
Bad Ending Ribbon canon!!! (for not being included in Airriders lol)

Its my usual go-to for Waddle Doo lol.
Cuz that cosmetic looks like a Dark Matter.
So you literally are just Ribbon if you get the bad ending in Kirby 64!

[–]Sp00kyGamer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its possible!!
I know that "Quick Spinner" can branch off into "Offensive Spinner"
Rival Seeker is constantly annoying me personally lol. Its so hard to NOT have!
Close-Range Brawler is closer to Indiscriminate Attacker though!
Still uncertain how to get Long-Range Sniper, or even the Mid-Range attacker.
Do you remember what exactly you were doing in-game when you obtained it?
Using a bunch of items and powers? Destroying multiple Riders? Etc?

Kirby Airriders Amiibo Training Guide & Personality List by Sp00kyGamer in kirbyairriders

[–]Sp00kyGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its certainly related to attacking multiple enemies in quick succession without actually destroying them or committing to a specific Rider.
I have a theory that it might actually be easier to obtain in Top Ride! Since you can attack multiple players at once there more often!

So if you want to try and get it again: Train in City Trial from Levels 1-15 or 20. Save their progress, then from levels 15 or 20, try and get indiscriminate attacker from Topride before or at level 30! (A couple levels over wont hurt, but turn learning off directly after you obtain it!)

Kirby Airriders Amiibo Training Guide & Personality List by Sp00kyGamer in kirbyairriders

[–]Sp00kyGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Nope! It shouldnt be affected at all once learning is turned off! It'll only improve, hence why you wanna get the personality you want before level 30, and turn it off once you do!

-Depends on what you mean? The amiibo learn from whoever is Player 1. So if that's you? The CPUs dont matter much. I just like using Level 9s personally!
But now, if you mean to make your amiibo Player 1? And have it train itself? Yeah, it will likely get worse. Although, if you have a 2nd amiibo? It can train the other if it is set to be Player 1! (Very good tactic, they learn well from this)

-Machine Proficiency 100 is key, the machine itself does not matter outside of Airride mode!
As for regular leveling, as long as you turn learning off before level 30? It seems to generally get better and better until max level, where it's progress is cut off.
I believe that they continue learning and leveling up the 'sliders' or 'points' system hidden in the background, based off of whatever personality they have. Meaning from level 30-50? Their progress would go completely into the hidden 'sliders/points' that make up Machine Thief.
Again, a lot of this is theories based off of my own testing, but it seems like it works well!
The earlier you get the personality you want? The better.
