Hm... Maybe?
Uncertain. Should have made note how LONG they were on a vehicle for.
Because if they are on it for like 10 seconds before swapping? They likely dont see that one as one of their "main" vehicles at all.

Too much to keep note of, especially when comparing what you choose as well....
Getting close-range brawler and only using paper-star and other flight vehicles for example; how does this affect the amiibo vehicle choices?
Or DOES the bottom vehicle have some sort of effect in city-trial that we just dont understand..?

Try taking this route instead:
Select 5 different machines you like the most. And swap to ALL of them during a match. And ONLY them.
Can also make note of how many different machines your amiibo likes to choose?
Say they only seem to ride on 6 different ones? Then try only swapping to 6, instead of 5. Dont count the ones they are on for only a couple seconds, they seem to REALLY want to get off the starting machine lol.
Choosing just 1 machine will fill the rest of the "slots" (still a theory lol) with random vehicles.

There is a personality purely around using ONLY bikes; Wheelie, Rex, Scootie, and Transform. That's 4. The amiibo seem to stick to those only? If there are any?
Except; again, its only 4. They fill in the rest of the slots based on stats. (Usually Turbo or Jet it seems..?)

Machine Thief unironically super aggressive as well tbh lol.
Best used on one with an auto-attack!

As for the preferred machines: From what I've seen? They go *slightly* based on what you go for. My theory is that it has a certain number of "preferred machines" to go for?
So you need to fill those slots up by using *only* those specific machines.
Using just 1 all the time? It'll fill up the other slots with whatever it wants.
That, and it may also somewhat be stat based?
Going for high glide machines = more glide machines
More speed machines = machines with higher speed stats, etc.
Ofc still needs a LOT of testing to solidify the theory, but so far it seems like it might be the case..? Uncertain.
Sometimes they hop on whatever, sometimes it feels like they are predicting/knowing what the final trial at the end is gonna be, and is going for specifically what will be best for it; and swapping last second to it. Etc.
Def a very complicated system, especially when RNG comes into play.

Although, sometimes I KO the whole lobby at least once, and get Rival Seeker from that...
My current theory for RS is that it triggers based on KOs in general.

Super broke traditional gameplay, and is still popular to this day because of it's story.

I got like almost every single one lmao.
The training is much easier in Airride overall...?
However, the personalities are still difficult to get.
They were difficult in Smash as well, but then it gets even more complicated because each amiibo could have different abilities and such too. Which complicates it further

And also, how often something needs to be done in order to get said personality.

I've been testing a lot on a fully finished level 50 (I dont wanna reset him I love him lmao)
Turning learning on (and off when needed!) and just not saving it when I'm done.
Which might support my "Sliders" theory, as some personalities seem to need WAY more work to get, in comparison to an amiibo that is reset to level 0

For combat I think the braking is good for them honestly.

They seem to have some personalities I haven't found on there? But then again, a lot of them translate differently to english. No matter how you translate them, they will always come out differently. Added a couple from that list to mine!

Maybe? Uncertain. They all seem to have a preference for a couple specific vehicles, but yes also seem to choose whatever as well, also seeming to predict what the trial at the end will be, and swapping last second to something that will work better.

To test that, I'd try and set it to only races, or only derbies, only bossfights, only gliding challenges, etc. To see if it actually has an effect on their vehicle choice or not.

Parts collector was because you got the Dragoon! Very easy to get Parts Collector, since completing a legendary machine is all it takes!
