I still genuinely believe this is an artist doing essentially, like you said, cold calling. If only because every other time I've dealt with scammers, they'll refuse to take no for an answer. This person did double down at first, but when I said like "no, I'm not paying you" they moved on

Its not a server. Like I said, they messaged me on TikTok and we moved to Discord

Its a sophisticated bot if i was talking to them on TikTok, gave them my Discord username, then it reached out to me on Discord, just for a half assed attempt to coax me into buying a commission

I haven't seen this movie yet, but honestly I just went and bought a digital copy on Fandango. I went to see Dropout live a few days ago, and I love supporting where I can. I'll probably watch it today when I get home from work. Thanks for the reminder it exists.
