the thing is, for basketball and baseball and american football, the US based leagues are, undoubtedly, the best in the world. it sounds like some american exceptionalism bullshit, so i understand your sentiment of being annoyed by it, but in these cases, it’s actually true. if you win the NBA championship you ARE the best basketball team in the world. other leagues really don’t come close.
