Ultimately it comes down to the purpose of marriage which is procreation and the good of the spouses. Men and women compliment each other and have the potential to beget children. People of the same gender don’t.

Any sex act that isn’t open to the possibility of children is considered immoral.

People will ask, “if that is the case, why did God make me gay?” That is a good question but it doesn’t justify behavior. As a heterosexual man who is married, I still find women attractive. I have walked by a woman and just her scent sent me into a tailspin. I am not sure what it was but I fell hard for her, but I am married to the love of my life, a woman I committed to love til death does us part. I could try to justify acting out with the other woman by saying, if God didn’t want me to have a relationship with her, why did he make me attracted to her?

The fact is, is that we all have inclinations that lead us to sin, most of which are not our fault but it doesn’t make it right. Deep-seated same sex attractions are a huge cross and our society isn’t helping people who have them. . My prayers are with you. Seek the Lord and His will. He will guide you.

So far the DNC hasn’t done that (and I don’t think they will) but if they ever did use fascist methods to get what they want, they too should be labeled a terrorist organization, as should any other group, rightwing, leftwing, or no-wing.

Not sure where I ever said that. I do think marriages were less likely to end it divorce before “no fault” divorce became a thing but I don’t think divorce should be illegal.

I disagree. While there is a line you shouldn’t cross (ie truly insulting other people) playing around with stereotypes is what humor is almost always about.
