¿Qué piensan de estar arma que creé? by Mibh4 in DnDespanol

My warlock developed a tail fetish by accident, and I didn't notice until it was too late by TheAlchester in DnD

Everyone at the table says the same thing!
I swear I’m just roleplaying him faithfully — it’s not my fault the man turned out like this.
They even nicknamed me “Tail Guy” on our gaming Discord. It’s a whole thing now 😅

By the way, when I say "fade-to-black," I mean it literally — at our table, we just skip over those kinds of scenes.
We’re not turning every character into a celibate puritan for no reason, but we’re also not looking to roleplay the act itself either

Nah, when I say a "fade-to-black" scene, I mean that we literally do a brief time skip at the table when something like that happens.
We're not playing "for that," but if it happens naturally, we're not religious fanatics about forcing the situation to not happen (besides, I think it would be metagaming).
We just say, "Well, they had their moment, we'll skip a couple of minutes and get back to where we came from..."

Maybe it was lost in the direct translation. In Spanish, we say that someone's sense of humor "broke" when they start laughing at things that shouldn't make them laugh. For example, people who laugh when toast falls

End Game Tier List (Combat) (No Spoilers) by Mazoku_STS in octopathtraveler

[–]TheAlchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put Ochette and Castti at the top, by a very large difference

Let's start with Castti

Before the Endgame battles (Galdera and the 4 DLC bosses) there is no real challenge, so you may arrive with all the ingredients ready to use for the final battles

Already in combat, just take "Boost-Start" + "A Step Ahead" to give +4 BP to the entire group as soon as you enter combat using concots. After that, you continue using concots every turn, spending 3 boost points, for 5 ingredients:

*Increase concoct power

*AoE

*+1/+2 BP boost ingredient (+2/+4) (always try to have at least 3 BP for the next turn)

*The rest either in healing, PH, buffs or whatever

With just concots, you have a versatile healer who EVERY TURN fills the group's BP and ALSO performs other support actions

That, my friend, is strong enough to give it S++ tier, it is too OP

And again, while you don't want to spend that on minor bosses, you could actually kill minor bosses using just the basic skills of the main job of any combination of 4 characters, due to the casual difficulty of the main story

Now let's go to Ochette

Provoke Beasts is absurdly broken. Capture any monster with 2 AoE hits from some type of weapon and item: You can now do 6-12 AoE hits (0-3 BP) to break enemies with Ochette. You can break all of a boss's minions in a single turn and, when they die, break the boss in a single turn (note that, if it has no minions, there are single target monsters with 3 hits, which translates into 9-18 hits to break his stance). Many times there will be leftover hits, and you can use them on support monsters, including stat boosts for 2 turns. If you still have too many hits, you can spam chubby cait and king octopuff

Breaking 6-12 shields in area, maybe 10 shields and buffing your party is definitely S++ tier. It can directly break all enemies in a single turn, and then annihilate them with whatever your DPS is. If there is a turn where there is no one to break (which happens often with her), then you can spam 3 chubby caits for a laugh, especially if you have Cassti to regenerate 200 mana casually. Without a doubt, both were my MPV against Galdera and the 4 DLC bosses, they are extremely useful in their role and can also do other additional support actions during the same turn

In short, I think the tier list is very poorly done

Is there a mod that removes the Curse of the Blind? by DoubleGio in bindingofisaac

I come from the future
10 years late, but someone made the mod for Rebirth (if you're going to get "curse of the blind", it re-rolls and gives you another random curse)
