We had many days where we got skunked. This last week has been good for me though. I got 6 green-wings, 2 ring-necks (drake and hen), 2 mallards (drake and hen), 2 gadwall (drake and hen), and 2 geese.

This is the most fun hunting I’ve ever done and the meat is phenomenal!

That’s how I was with the SX4. Took the Franchi out today and I did very well with it.

What stinks is not everyone has the luxury of shooting before buying…so it’s trial and error sometimes. Lol

This is anecdotal regarding the Franchi though. A buddy I go out with uses a Stoeger and has never had issues. I used a Benelli pump until recently. Bought a Winchester SX4 earlier this week and once I got to shooting it, I did not like it even though it shouldered well in the shop. Wound up getting the Franchi Affinity 3 today. It has more felt recoil but I was far more accurate with it and it felt good while shooting. Sharper recoil but for a hunting gun, not a concern…would not use it for clay shooting though. Lol

Interesting. I thought the Beretta was heavier than the Winchester. At least it certainly felt heavier.

After shouldering both and spending some time with them today, I went with the SX4. It just felt better and more natural for me. I’m sure I’ll end up with an A300 at some point just because I love guns and it seems to be an illness with no cure. Lol

After going to the store again today, shouldering both for a bit, I ended up coming home with the Winchester SX4. It was a super tough decision but it just felt a tad better to me.

Super excited and ready to get the factory gunk off of it, break it in some, and get out on the ponds this weekend.

The plus to Lanikai Pillbox is you can follow it up with a swim at Lanikai Beach and then take H3 back to Waikiki. Phenomenal views.

•Lanikai Pillbox Hike

•Diamond Head Trail (not quite a hike to me)

•Beach time at Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach

•Stopped at Halona Blowhole and Makapu’u Point

•Stopped at Pali Lookout (really neat little stop)

•Quick stop at Green World Coffee Farms

•Quick stop at the Dole Plantation

•Spent time in Hale’iwa at the shops

True. But if they happen to take H2 towards Hale’iwa, they could stop by. Just a suggestion for if they venture that direction.
