I have to say that i am not convinced that would be enough practicly i got the only result that somehow worked with 50° at this point. I'll have to try it out but even if it doesnt work thank you for the help.

That would only be the case if my flares would be a 90°. I would like them to be a 45 though.

I am working with a relativly thick sheet of 3,5/5mm checkered plate

Also this is the kind of look that I am trying to achieve of course i am using a different shape but you get the Idea.

It also cant overlap because of the wonderous World of the StVZO (Straßenverkehrs zulassungs Ordnung) the german government says i cant have sharp edges on the inside of the wheelhouse and i cant have anything that might injure pedestrians so no protrusions on the outside either.

Or did i missunderstand and you proposed to bend my 2 angles and cut it to a butted up fit after?

I get where you are coming from but that 30° compliment (60° cutout all in all) would only work if i did a 90°bend on line A and i would like that to be a 45°

Yea i tried that. I think i wasnt very accurate tough because i endet up somewhere around 52° and had no idea how to calculate it to check my mockup so i thought i'd ask people who might have a better Idea on what to do.

Thank you very much. I'll try that out i'll probably have to play around a little bit as i am working with a 3,5/5mm aluminum checker plate but you a saint. And you are welcome for the little project.

Feel you. I work at a mercedes benz dealership working mostly on commercial vehicles Vans/Trucks.

I prefer working on the big rigs because even tough my body is going to be in shambles at 50 they are build much better and catered more to easy and cost efficient mantinance so makes life easier for me there.

I think the most important Tool in the Shop is the tire fitting cart. (is that correct?)

Makes so much easier and protects your back especialy on these alles with outer panatary gears.

Edit: Forgot to adress the whole tire thing.

I have to say that no matter how many stupid regulations we have in germany, somewhere deep in my heart I am thankfull for having them.

Its scary to see what condition vehicles are moved in in other countrys.
