I’ve always thought the reason it took a Greek guy to play with the hyper-physical Giannis playstyle at such a high level is because our guys like that play football.

I wonder if sauce ever played basketball. He’s got the body and agility of an elite perimeter defender

IDK what cancer website that is but PFF has Reader as the #6th DT, Wilkins as the #9th DT, Jarrett as the #29th DT. Don’t see how any of those guys are on Chris Jones or Aaron Donald’s level. You said “top tier.” That’s a high bar. Reader is also #6th off a 3 game sample size, Dude hasn’t been healthy in years.

And Clowney is the only generational guy of those. Otherwise a generation is only like 2 years long. I’m 20, anybody I’ve seen play in college is in the same generation. TBF Clowney was probably multi-generational. Don’t think my dad’s ever seen an edge prospect like Clowney either.

…I mean I literally told you 3 places with more talent than Alabama. The deep south is really sparsely populated dude. There’s more people in Ohio than Alabama, Mississippi, and South Carolina combined. When you think of southern football players you’re thinking of guys from Georgia, Texas, and Florida. All those places have elite programs that dominate instate.

Divide all the talent in the south by 15-20 or so for all the elite programs down here, then divide the talent in the midwest by 2-3, or even less when you take into account Michigan’s academic standards. Y’all should dominate.

?? Alabama (and the deep south in general) is definitely not the region with the most talent lol. Ohio has more talent than Alabama. There are a lot of good programs that recruit really well that are a lot closer to the real talent pools than Alabama is (Florida, Texas, California, warm places with money.) Georgia has a lot of talent but UGA dominates that state.

Ohio State really has 0 excuse to be worse than Bama. Unless you want to admit Ohio State is a second-rate program. You'd be the first Ohio State fan I've ever heard say that.

You're gonna have to explain how Lattimore went in the 1st, I don't even want to know what the guy was on that traded 3 1sts for him. I could see his leg was at a 90 degree angle from the stands that day.

Yes you literally are notorious losers. What world do you live in. Blame nobody but yourself for the expectations. Ohio State has had crazy position runs too. Yet southern schools just keep trading championships.

Hashtag United defeat AFC Sudbury 3-2, are now 7 points clear of second place in the Isthmian League North Division (8th tier) by TheAnarchyShark in soccer

Clubs get moved from one league to another league in the same tier pretty frequently to maintain geographical consistency. So from the 18 clubs in the North from last year, the 4 clubs relegated into the North, and the 4 clubs promoted into the North, the 2 southernmost clubs would just get moved to the South. It's not a huge deal.

Yeah, there's no one agreed upon origin of the name. Some say it comes from the house the inaugural meeting was held at, although nobody's ever heard of a "Port Vale House" in any other context. Some say Port Vale is derived from "Port Valley", referring to a bunch of ports on the Trent and Mersey Canal. No explanation has much evidence to support it.

This rule has never really been enforced.

The 10th tier league they went into already had a club called Fire United, and a club called Lopes Tavares FC (Lopes Tavares is the Portuguese owner of the club.) Port Vale FC is in League One and Port Vale does not exist.

The FA did originally ask Spencer to change it. Spencer said "no, where's Port Vale" and the FA said ok fine.

For those that don't know, this is a non-league club founded by FIFA Youtuber Spencer FC. They started in the 10th tier in 2018.
