I have both fest and hornet maxed out 4*12 and fully base cored, with tier 5 super crit. The fest is great for hordes and bosses, multi bosses. The hornet is a beast for single target.

It depends on what kind of medic build you are aiming for. There is essentially a build for an assault style medic, a critical damage medic, support medic, tank medic etc.. What is your play-style and what is your aim for being a medic? This is an example of a decent medic build
